Pupils in P5 have formed literature circles this term.
Literature circles are small groups of 4 or 5 readers who study a novel together.
The groups meet twice a week to discuss the book and share ideas. Pupils also read individually at home and complete homework activities which they share with the rest of the group.
Literature circles are not only great for developing reading skills. They also help pupils to work with one another and improve their listening and talking skills.
Here are some pictures of the groups hard at work.
