This week we thought we would share some of our literacy learning with you! We have had a huge focus on literacy this week and we are very proud of our achievements in reading. Many of us have reached our reading target! Of course in primary one we never stop learning so we already have a new reading target to work towards.
Our cursive handwriting is fantastic! Mrs MacIntosh read our imaginative stories this week. She was AMAZED at our cursive writing and at how much we can write. She gave us a special DHT award sticker which is silver and blue. Some of us are going to read out our stories at assembly next Friday, the 20th of March. Parents/ carers are invited to attend this little event. Doors open at 10:50 am for this if you wish to attend.
Today is RED NOSE DAY and everyone is helping to raise money for this worthy cause. Check us out!
Finally here’s a picture of myself having been face painted by a lovely pupil during assembly. She did a terrific job!
