Solar Eclipse

Preston Street Pupils had an exciting morning viewing the solar eclipse today!

The children had previously learned about how to view an eclipse safely and used solar eclipse glasses and pinhole cameras to view the event.

The pinhole cameras were made by P2 pupils who are currently learning about Night and Day. They kindly shared them with the rest of the children in the school and wrote instructions for safe use and attached them to the pinhole cameras to help remind other children in the school about what to do.

We had a great time viewing this rare occurrence!
