Nicholas Party Artwork

We have been studying the work of the artist Nicholas Party. He uses everyday objects such as cups and kettles, but alters the way they look to create a fabulous painting! Why don’t you ask us some of the facts we have been learning!

He creates abstract backgrounds using careful colour and pattern choices. Here we are recreating some of his famous pieces – with our own slant!

We then moved on to creating still life images using his art as a stimulus. We drew pots and other household objects, then used the visual element of colour to make careful choices when painting. The still life images were then stuck on top.

The finished result is fantastic! Take a look…

I think we could give Nicholas Party a run for his money!! Well done P4/5
