P4/5 enjoyed returning to Vogrie Park during our whole school summer trip! Through outdoor learning, we enjoyed identifying trees by their leaves and branches, using colour wheels to explore the magical spring colours and build minibeast houses and play parks!
Have a look at the pictures below to see what we got up to!
Here we are identifying trees using helpful branch and leave guides!
Then we moved on to exploring the spring colours using colour wheels.
Finally we made homes for the many minibeasts in Vogrie Country Park, but using materials we found around us. From bracken to twigs, minibeast homes were made!
P4/5 also had the opportunity to complete orienteering challenges, working in pairs to complete a series of questions. Have a look!
We had a fantastic day at Vogrie Park… we can’t wait to go again next year! 🙂
