Halloween

WOW! Did I get a fright when I came out to collect the lines in. I saw a zombie apocalypse, ghostly ghouls, wicked witches, ninja and Halo warriors, flamenco dancers, mermaids and a sailor who came off worse with a shark! I even came across Dumbledore on a school exchange! Needless to say, if you can’t beat them, join them.

We had a fabulous Halloween day participating in activities kindly planned by the parents and carers of Preston Street Primary. We partook in a freaky fashion show in the hall to display our costumes, some of us even won prizes. Well done Simon and Paige. Afterwards we loved playing all the games including the ‘mummy wrap’, hanging biscuits, ghost skittles and searching through bloody intestines for sweets. When we returned to class, we developed our expressive art skills, dancing to be specific. What with it being 31st October, there was only going to be one song we could dance to. That’s right, Michael Jackson’s Halloween classic, Thriller.

Thank you again to all out parent and carer helpers that made our Halloween SPOOKTACULAR.
