P4 have been learning about Electricity this week as part of our Science topic. Today we made mini Christmas Operation games by making a circuit with a buzzer. We used chocolate box trays for the base and we covered these in tinfoil. Then we built our circuit using wires, buzzers and batteries. It was a tricky task at times and we had to use our problem solving skills to work out how to complete the circuit. It’s a good thing we have been discussing insulators and conductors in class. We know that tinfoil is a conductor and helps us to complete our circuit creating a buzzing sound when someone touches it with the crocodile clip. We had great fun playing our mini games afterwards and seeing who had the steadiest hand!
