Creative Cubists and Great Van Goghs!

Here is some of the fantastic artwork created by pupils in P3 and P6/7. Both classes were learning to use collage and mixed media to create these fabulous pictures inspired by two famous artists, Van Gogh and Picasso. I think the P3s did a super job of recreating the swirly sky of Van Gogh’s, ‘Starry night’ using  paint, pastel, pencil, glitter and different papers.  Meanwhile P6/7 based their portraits on geometric shapes and then thought carefully about how to build up their artwork to create texture and depth.  Watch this space for more glorious artwork from the supremely talented artists at Preston Street!
