Primary 5 are continuing to enjoy learning about the Rainforest.
This week we spent some time learning about the amazing orchids and bromeliads that grow high up in the branches of the Canopy Layer of the Rainforest. We then did some close observational drawings of the plants that will soon be on our wall display.
We also spent some time in our co-operative groups discussing the classification of animals into mammals, fish, reptiles etc and why it is important. It raised lots of interesting, and sometimes quite philosophical questions!
