We are having lots of fun in P3!

Over the past few weeks we have been really busy with lots of different learning opportunities! In Literacy we have been using our knowledge of Ancient Egypt to write about the mummification process and the discovery of Tutankhamun’s Tomb. In Numeracy we have been working hard on place value and some of us have been learning how to round numbers to the nearest ten. We have also been fortunate enough to have a visit from a range of professionals who taught us what to do in an emergency and how to do CPR. We had great fun practising CPR on our teddies!

Last week we also had an amazing time learning about Ancient Egypt at the Museum. We split off into groups and went on a tour of the museum to find all the different artefacts and pictures that would tell us about life in Ancient Egypt. One of our favourite parts was studying a colourful sarcophagus and getting to see a real mummy!

Inspired by our trip to the museum and all our hard work in our topic lessons we have been working with P3/4 and have create some life size sarcophagus lids!
