By 10.00am this morning, the whole of Primary 5 was sitting on top of Arthur’s Seat basking in the sunshine and enjoying panoramic views of this beautiful city we live in.
By 1.20pm, after a brief trip back to school to have lunch and get changed, Primary 5 were back in Holyrood Park dressed as Celts – which was no mean feat considering the weather conditions!
As is the norm with this class, they were wonderful ambassadors for the school showing the utmost respect during the minute silence we held on Arthur’s Seat. I was very proud of them and they are certainly making the most of their outdoor learning experiences.
Over the next few weeks we will delve a little more into the past and complete our John Muir Journals which we hope to share with you soon.
