Well done to the 20 P5-7 pupils who represented Preston Street in week 2 of the Lothian Schools’ Cross Country League.
This week’s fixture took place in windy but dry conditions at the Stewart’s Melville playing fields at Inverleith. Once again a wide range of schools were represented at the event and the overall standard was very high.
Well done to everyone who participated – it’s great that so many of our young people give up their time to get fit and active and represent their school. As always, thanks to Ray Ward for coaching the team, and to all the adults who helped to organise and run the event.
Next week’s fixture takes place at Roseburn Park – we look forward to seeing another large group of Preston Street runners at this event.
